To KTPC, Kulim Technology Park Corporation, for winning the Smart Township Malaysia Silver Award for KHTP, Kulim Hi-Tech Park.

KHTP was awarded this recognition on 4th November in conjunction with the 2026 World Town Planning Day celebration at the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) Civic Hall Auditorium.

The smart city and smart township development is through initiatives led by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) and PLANMalaysia under the Malaysia Smart City Framework.

The award was accepted by the Group Chief Executive Officer of KTPC, Dato’ Mohd Sahil Zabidi.

This recognition reflects the capability of KTPC—as the developer and manager of KHTP—to integrate industrial development with a sustainable and competitive smart township agenda. KHTP’s uniqueness lies not only in its ability to attract high-tech industrial investments but also in its development as an integrated township.
