Who We Are

KULIM INDUSTRIAL TENANTS ASSOCIATION

KITA is an acronym or abbreviation for Kulim Industrial Tenants Association, formed in 2003 and registered in 2004 with the Registry of Societies (ROS) Department in Malaysia under the name of Persatuan Pengusaha Syarikat Perindustrian Kulim, Kedah (KITA).

Presently, KITA has more than 30 members comprising tenants from the Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP).

WHY FORMING KITA?

Reasons for the formation of KITA

Shared vision and common vested interest among companies to make KHTP successful.

To provide a single communication channel to government, service providers, community and other stakeholders.

To foster better linkage and collaborative efforts among companies in KHTP.

KITA's Objectives :

  • To foster the building of an ideal community and environment in Kulim to live and work in.
  • To maintain and improve communications and relationships amongst its members in matters of mutual interest as well as with the Government and its agencies, and the community.
  • To disseminate to its members information concerning the actions and decisions of the Government and its agencies.
  • To increase the awareness and understanding amongst its members regarding policies, procedures and limitations of the Government and its agencies.
  • To foster and promote through its existence the basis for transfer of technology, skills and expertise to citizens of Malaysia in keeping with the country’s aspirations for development.
